It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Owen Heavey of Yonkers, New York, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Kate and Mary Kate; and his brother Patrick. He is survived by : his wife Mary; his children, Margaret, Noel, Eamon and Dana; his granddaughters, Caitlin and Courtney; and his siblings, Mary, Anne, Josie (Hugh), Margaret (Patrick) and Joseph. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hodder Farenga Funeral Home (899 McLean Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Barnabas Church (4343 Martha Ave, Bronx, NY 10470).
