He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; and his brother Cornelius. He is survived by: his children, Patrick (Donna), Marie, Kathleen and Michael; his grandchildren, Patrick (Samantha), Denise (Jonathan), Brian and Kevin; his great grandchildren, Patrick, Nathaniel, Matthew, Emma and Jack; and his brother Thomas (Rita).
