She was predeceased by: her parents, George and Marie Zahakos (Pappas). She is survived by: her pets, Bernedoodle Dottie, Otis, Rosie, Ellie, JuJu and Chloe.
A burial will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Oakland Cemetery (2 Saw Mill River Rd, Yonkers, NY 10701). A committal service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flynn Memorial (1652 Central Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10710). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at the same location.
Her favorite charity, a shelter organization, is "Pets in Need", based in Redwood City, California. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to this charity (petsinneed.org) or your local shelter in her name.
