She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawerence Edwards and Geraldine Edwards; her husband Ronald Hopkins Sr.; her siblings, Carl Edwards and Claudia Edwards; her nieces, Tarshema, Lakeisha Smith and Crystal Edwards; and her granddaughter Starasia Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Mas Edwards (Scherrie), Gerria Edwards, Sharonnia Osayaba (Babatu), Monty, Liz, Ronald Jr., Wayne (Tamara), Makiba and Ronnette Hopkins. She is also survived by six sisters, seven brothers, along with a host of nieces, nephews grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
