He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertil Francis Bergenson and Helfrid Marie Richnau Bergenson. He is survived by: his brother Edwin; his wife Myrna; his children, Ann Bergenson Shaw of Croton and Russell Bergenson (Angela) of New Rochelle; and his granddaughters, Kristin, Kerri Shaw, Deanna and Sabrina Bergenson.
His philatelic collection grew considerably through the years, largely as a result of donations by his network of friends.
