He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Orgera and Vincent Orgera. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his sons, Scott and Dean (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Henry and Abigail; and his brother Douglas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Richard's name to one of three charities he held close to his heart: Wounded Warrior Project, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
