She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Caniano and Jennie Caniano; and her husband Charles. She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Tostanoski (Ed); her grandson Edward (Violeta); and her great grandchild Mariana.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ruggiero & Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services (732 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Saint John the Baptist Church (670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd, Queens, NY 11377).
