It is with sadness that the passing of Sara Chousa of Yonkers, New York is shared. Sara, born on February 4, 1940, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Aprigio Pinheiro and Carolina Da Eira; her husband Joao Chousa; and her brother Fransisco. She is survived by: her children, Maria Morais (Reinaldo), Aprigio Chousa (Lorie) and Antonio Chousa (Angela); her grandchildren, Mathew, Ariana, John, Nicholas, Christopher, Briana, Laura and Marco; her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Eviee, Alessio, Dario, Aria, Arabella, Giada and Rylan; and her brothers, Jose, Manuel and Domingos.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flower Funeral Home Inc. (714 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at the Mount Hope Cemetery (50 Jackson Ave, Hastings-On-Hudson, NY 10706).
