He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Marcel and Christina Mildred Bernhardi; and his brother-in-law Edward Jefferis, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Bernhardi (Lora McMahon Licht); his sister Lynn Jefferis; his nieces and nephews, Erin Lynn (Jason), Christina (Chris), Edward III, Timothy and Sarah; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew, Edward IV, Emily, Kennard, Levi, Hunter and Colton.
