With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas Francis Keaveney (Yonkers, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Keaveney and Margaret Keaveney; his siblings, Malachy, Pearl Lynch and Dan; and his brother-in-law Don Hogan.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Gilhooley; his children, Tommie, Brian (Kathy), Mary Catherine Byrnes (Steve) and Sheila Foote (Patrick); his sister Sheila Hogan; his sister-in-law Maura Keaveney; and his great grandchildren, Tiegan and Hudson.
He faced a courageous 26-year battle with Parkinson's disease with the same grace and strength that defined his life. In honor of Parkinson's Awareness Month and Tom's long and brave fight, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
