He is survived by: his wife Patricia Persise; his children, Timothy P. Smith, Kelly M. Rudowich (Douglas) and Margaret Swanson (Don); and his grandsons, Thomas M. Swanson (Sara), William P. Rudowich, Martin J. Rudowich and Timothy P. Smith.
