He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinrich Zinck and Martha Wenzel Zinck; his wife Ellen Saushen Zinck; his son Herbert Zinck; and his brother William Moeller.

He is survived by: his children, Richard Zinck (Jeanette) and Vera Qualitero (Michael); his grandchildren, Brian, Richard A. Zinck (Amy), Terri Hughes, Erika Qualitero and Michael Qualitero, Jr. (Nicole); and his great grandchildren, Avery, Chloe, Emily Qualitero and Patrice Zinck (Marie).
