He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luigi Aufiero and Consiglia Aufiero (Carlino); and his daughters, Diane Pagnozzi (Joseph), Ann Sanchez (Frank) and Kathy Gabriel (Gary). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Donations may be made in memory of William Aufiero to St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, New York.
