He was predeceased by: his parents, Milburn Monk and Doris "Blanche" Monk (Dinehart); and his siblings, Ronald Monk and Marcia Miller (Monk). He is survived by: his son Brian Monk (Diane) of North Carolina; his friend Lynne Yuenger of Ephratah, NY; his siblings, Donna O'Rourke (Tom Hamilton) and Jerome Monk of Tampa, FL; his sister-in-law Bonnie Monk of Oppenheim, NY; and also Loring Brandow (Barb Knowles). He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews and several cousins.
