He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian McFarland and Patience McFarland; his brother Andrew McFarland; and his niece Caitlin McFarland. He is survived by: his wife Kim Ainslie McFarland; his children, Sarah and Matthew McFarland; and his brothers, Edward McFarland (Michele) of Baltimore, MD, Paul McFarland (Judit) of Oxford, England and Steven McFarland of Macon, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many good friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the York United Presbyterian Church (2662 Main St, Piffard, NY 14533).
