She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sherman and Eva Sherman; her husband Harry Carl McClelland; and her siblings, Margaret Moulton, Lodine Stiles, Marvin, Morton and Morris Sherman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mildred McDowell of Madrid, NY, Ruth Koch of Manassas, VA and Floyd Sherman of Potsdam, NY; her children, Gretchen McClelland Gale (Alphonse Prisco III) of Carmel, NY and Harry Carl McClelland, Jr. (Myriam McClelland); her grandson James McClelland Gale (Megan Gale); and her great grandchildren, Henry William Gale and Grant Charles Gale of Cortlandt Manor. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home (414 Washington St, Peekskill, NY 10566). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530).
