He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Roach and Ann Roach (McDonough); his wife Ann Foss; his daughter Gail Roach of New Hartford; his girlfriend Ruth Shaw; and his sisters, Jean Durvetsky of Auburn and Elizabeth Jedra of Auburn.
He is survived by: his daughter Marilyn; his son-in-law Daniel Maticic; his granddaughter Nikki of Leesburg, VA; his daughter Renee; his son-in-law Paul McAndrew; his grandchildren, Ryan and Collin of Whitesboro; his sister Eleanor Mullins of Roseville, CA; and his close friend Debi Connelly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mother of Our Savior Parish (2222 Genesee St, Utica, NY 13502).
