With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edwin Francis Funk of Youngstown, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Funk and Francis Funk; and his sister Patricia McGinis (Richard). He is survived by: his children, Laraine Anne Funk, Roger Paul Gutierrez and Alyssa Anne Funk; his wife Lynn Schiro Funk; his grandchild Francis; his sibling's children, Richard McGinis (Susan Holland), Kenneth McGinis (Karen) and Charlotte; and his sister-in-law Paula Schiro.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (110 Chestnut St, Youngstown, NY 14174).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, PO Box 166, Youngstown, NY, 14174 or Heart, Love & Soul, 939 Ontario, Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, 14305, both organizations meaningful to Edwin and his family.
