He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip John Sowicki and Amy Allera (Dobrenski); and his sister Phyllis Spivak (Merrill). He is survived by: his wife Sharon M. Sowicki (Bennion); his children, Christine Luff, Phillip Sowicki (late Rachel) and Laurie Essenburg (Michael); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Andrew, Ethan, Colin, Tristen, William Frederick, Phillip, Averi, Mavis, Owen, Gabrielle and Christian; his sister Valerie McCartney (Marvin); and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home and Niagara County Cremation Care (2215 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304).
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.
