He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Crouthamel and Miriam Crouthamel (Snyder); and his brother Donald Crouthamel. He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Crouthamel (Campbell); his daughter Johanna Pellegrino; his stepchildren, Michelle Leon, Deidra Leon, Cheryl Leon and Blake Leon (Serena); his grandchildren, Trent, Nathan, Landon, Jacob, Trajan and Ayven; his former wife Marcia J. Crouthamel; and his caregiver Jodie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
