He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lorne Maracle and Francis Maracle (Green); and his siblings, Brenda Hustedde, Bonnie Harris (Scotty), Pamela Tafelski (Todd), George Thomas Barnes and Penny Small (Mark). He was also cherished by his two daughters: two granddaughters.
