He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Smith and Isabelle Smith; and his siblings, Jane Gibson, Nancy Johnson, Julia Luther, Bryan Dean, Keith Smith and David Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Catharine (Potter); his daughter Sara Gordon (Jim); his grandson Ryan of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; his son Brett Smith (Amanda); his granddaughter Autumn of Dover, Kentucky.; and his siblings, Maxine Lehman of Franklin, Susan De Maison of Conneautville and Blaine Smith (Sandra) of Florida.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hile-Best Funeral Home (2781 PA-257, Seneca, PA 16346). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
