He was predeceased by : his parents, Thornton Lee and Christine Daulton Wilson; his brothers, Thornton L. Wilson and F. Michael Wilson; and his grandparents, Sylvester and Hazel Hubbard.

He is survived by : his wife Cheryl Turner Wilson; his children, Christy Kirk (Previs) and Patricia Clos (Brandon); his grandchildren, Preston Kirk (Courtney), Cailey, Kolton and Kasey Kirk; his stepgrandchildren, Oliver and Olivia; and his sisters, Amanda Turner (Everett) and Mildred Lowe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
