She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Spencer and Dolly Spencer; her husband Gene Hackney; and her sisters, Sharon Wynnette Spencer and Patricia Jean Spencer.
She is survived by: her sons, Wesley Scott Hackney of Manchester, Chris Hackney (Heather) and Frank Hackney of Aberdeen; her siblings, Barbara Baker (Mark) and Danny Spencer (Mary); and her grandchildren, Sierra Taylor (Randy), Tyler Canaan, Caroline Grace Raquel (Joseph), Maleigha, Trávis and Zander. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends & neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home (216 W Mulberry St, West Union, OH 45693). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Manchester Cemetery (800 Cemetery St, Manchester, OH 45144).
