He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Moore and Bertha Moore (Cole); his wife Barbara A. Edmond; and his siblings, Frank Caplinger, David Moore, Denver Moore, Daniel Moore, Phyllis Jarvis, Linda Moore, Deborah Horn, Diane Smith and Sarah Moore.

He is survived by: his children, Anthony Moore (Cindy) of Gibsonburg, Gary Moore, Jr. (Susan) of Shawnee, Roger Moore of Marion and Christa Moore of Columbus; and his siblings, Dennis Moore, Michael Moore and Brenda Stapleton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
