We announce the death of Sharon Fess (Ada, Ohio), who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 82. Sharon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Hire and Frieda Hire (Roush); her brothers, Jim Hire and Bobby Hire; and her brother-in-law Bob DeLong.
She is survived by: her daughter Cherie Castle (Raymond) of Ada; her grandchildren, Rielyn Cole (Griffin) and Jaden Castle; her siblings, Rick Hire (Ellen), Bill Hire (Brenda) and Mary Lou DeLong; and her sisters-in-law, Sara Hire and Kathy Hire.
