He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene E. Hettinger and Wilda A. Hettinger (Fast); and his wife Geneva Marie Hettinger (Elliott). He is survived by: his son James F. Hettinger Jr. (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Joshua Hettinger, Holly Miller (Brandon), Amanda Hettinger and Colin Hettinger; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Hettinger, Michael Barnhart, Emsley Barnhart, Aiden Miller and Phillip. He is also survived by family members and friends.
