We announce the death of Karen Lynn Bright of Adelphi, Ohio, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 70. Karen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Brady Bates and Shirley Jean Bates-Lambert (Bentley); and her siblings, Russell Bolen and Shirley Garrick. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Lee Bright; her children, Rhonda Hatfield, Eric Hatfield (Stephanie) and Kayla Wing (Nick); her grandchildren, Jordan, Brayden, Alyssa, Brennon, Gavin, Erica and Oliver; and her great grandchildren, Aylee, Jason and John Henry.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hill Funeral Home (24 W Ing St, Kingston, OH 45644).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Karen's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring her spirit of generosity and compassion.
