He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bernosky and Mary Bernosky (Barabasz); and his siblings, Adele Ziaja and Ed Bernosky. He is survived by: his wife Janice Bernosky (Brokaw); his daughters, Dana Banal and Erin Rinkes (David Jr.); his grandchildren, Eric Banal, Katherine "Katie" Banal, Evan Krupinski and Jacob Rinkes; and his siblings, Joyce George, Jack Bernosky (Anne) and Dave Bernosky.
