With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Andrew Lengyel of Adena, Ohio, who passed away on May 11, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lengyel and Anna Stock Lengyel; and his sister-in-law Heather Lengyel. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Melchioris Lengyel; his daughter Tiffany VanDyke (Ryan); his siblings, Andrew Lengyel, Tom Lengyel (Janell), David Lengyel and Debbie Battilochi; and his nieces and nephews, Nikki Halicky (Steve), Kristie Prati (Nathan), Jessica and Joey Battilochi.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Borkoski Funeral Home (60 S Bridge St, Adena, OH 43901). A vigil service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 6:30 PM and on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
