She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Balis and Victoria Balis (Kot); her husband Mike; her children, Bernard and Karen Matusik; her son-in-law Roger Matusik; her siblings, Stella Malisiak, Frank and John Balis; her grandchildren, Mary Ann and Donnie; and her great grandchild Meagan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Jankow (Al), Joyce Kowalczyk (Ben "Bob") and Jeanette Koleski (Dave); and her grandchildren, Michael, Danny (Michelle), April (Ken), Tim (Laura), Candy (Dale), Mark (Amy), Scott (Lisa), Sharon, Rhonda (Kip), Ronnie and Carissa (Charlie). She is also survived by her 28 great-grandchildren, and her 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Borkoski Funeral Home (60 S Bridge St, Adena, OH 43901). A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Casimir Catholic Church (221 Hanna Ave, Adena, OH 43901).
