It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aaliyah Rainbolt-Johnson of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Aaliyah departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Aaliyah may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Aaliyah leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her grandfather Andrew Johnson Sr.. She is survived by: her parents, Andrew Johnson Jr. and Melissa Rainbolt; her sons, Aaden Grant, Aalijah Watson and Arik Garrett; and her siblings, Armani Rainbolt-King, Amani Rainbolt-King, Andrew Johnson and Ashley Rainbolt-Johnson. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
