With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert H. Couch (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Albert has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert H. Couch, Sr. and Frances Couch; and his brother George Couch. He is survived by: his wife Karen Barton; his children, Elliot Couch (Alleigh) and Jessica Lawrence (Sheppard); his granddaughters, Caitlin and Caroline; and his sister Elaine Brown (Bowden). He is also survived by his nephews and his nieces and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember his instructions whenever you encounter a lemonade stand. Memorial donations may also be made to Little Traverse Humane Society, the Little Traverse Conservancy or the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
