It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert F. Gilbert of Akron, Ohio, born in Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Gilbert and Ann Gilbert Fitz; his sister Judy Craze; and his daughter Sheryl Gilbert Doubell (Eric). He is survived by : his daughters, Mary Ann Ridgway (Doug) and Laura Semenzin (Michael); and his grandchildren, Chris Doubell (Anne), Phillip Doubell (Nicolette), Katie Doubell (Brett Hutkay), Jona Ridgway (Joshua Stotler), Dillon Ridgway (Gabriela Scorti) and Jackson Semenzin.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Portage Country Club (240 N Portage Path, Akron, OH 44303).
