We are sad to announce that, on April 13, 2026, at the age of 83, Alfred Nevels (Akron, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Marie Nevels and Joseph Nevels; and his brothers, Kenneth Jay Nevels, Anthony Glenn Nevels and Jonathan Lemuel Nevels.

He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Preer Nevels (Preer); his daughters, Leticia Mari Lewis, Tiffani Yvette Nevels and LaToya Nevels Coffey (Michael); his brothers, Laurence Eugene Nevels (Dolorus), Michael Leon Nevels (Staci) and Keith Ray Nevels (Lisa); his grandchildren, Cory Matthew Williams, Jaelen Michael Lewis, Cole Mason Coffey, Kendall Malia Coffey, Tristan Scot Reid and Austin Glenn Reid; and his great grandchild Corynn Marie Williams. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
