He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Ankrom and Ruth Ankrom; his sisters, Karen and Burljean; his daughter Wendy; and his stepdaughter Dolly.
He is survived by: his pets, Sammy, Teddy, Dusty and Zeus; his wife Maria; his children, Vic Ankrom and Ray Schumacher (Melony); and his grandsons, Michael, Raymond, Matthew and Scott. He is also survived by numerous siblings; and many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
