She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Borchert and Maria Borchert; her brothers, Kenneth, William and Norman Borchert; and her half-sister Marilyn Eickoff.

She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Adam (Katie) and James Thomas "Tom" Adam (Paula); her grandchildren, Kennedy, Lance, Grant and Alexander James "A. J." Adam; and her brother Ronald Borchert.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel (85 N Miller Rd, Akron, OH 44333). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hilary Catholic Church (2750 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Hilary Catholic Church (2750 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
