It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Dickson in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Danzy and Sarah Danzy (Gross); her former husband Hubert "Boobie" Dickson; and her sisters-in-law, Beverly Danzy and Peggy Danzy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Hillary Brooks (Louis) and Kimberly Dorsey; her grandchildren, Gabriel Dorsey, Gabrielle Shires (Trevor), Josiah Dorsey and Reighan Brooks; and her siblings, Joseph Danzy II, Terry Danzy and Sara Bragg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
