With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Irene Bowersox (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Milton A. Bowersox Sr.; her sons, Jeff Bowersox and Milton Bowersox Jr.; and her grandchildren, Henry Bowersox and Bobbie Ann White.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie (Mark), Candy, Judy (Tommy), Tammy (Mark), Keith (Dar) and Kenny (Janet); her sister Carol; and her sister-in-law Wilma. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Northlawn Memorial Garden (4725 State Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264).
