Callie Clifton Garris Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Callie Clifton Garris Jr. (Akron, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Jenna Woolard. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Sandra Woolard (Art), Dale Garris and Jonathan Garris (Tina); and his grandchildren, Alexis Jensen (Taylor), Kristy Mosher (Nathan), Mackenzie Mitchell, Alexandria Register (Joshua), Matthew Cullipher, Tyler Garris and Shyann Garris. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
He was the State Youth Advisor in North Carolina, the President of the College of Professional Christian Ministers of Illinois and Wisconsin, and the Vice Moderator of the Illinois Disciples Foundation (University of Illinois campus ministry).
