Carol R. Jenkins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol R. Jenkins (Akron, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McAlpine and Thelma McAlpine; her husband Raymond Jenkins (Bill); her son Willard Jenkins of Florida; and her grandchildren, Charles Engler, Amy Engler of Georgia and Adam Davies of Illinois.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Grennan (Rick) of Georgia, Linda Yaksic of Arkansas, Cynthia Davies of Georgia and Jeff (Darla); and her sister Rita Ostrovsky (Serge) of Akron. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; many special nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home (547 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery (3809 Mogadore Rd, Mogadore, OH 44260).
Memorials can be made to Barberton Area Community Ministries (BACM) and Mogadore United Methodist Church.
