He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burnette and Sarah Burnette; and his wife Carolyn. He is survived by: his children, Janet Wilkerson, Sheila Rice (Michael), Mike Burnette (Betty) and David Burnette (Janice); his siblings, Ray Burnette (Norma), Lawrence Burnette (Ponda), Peggy Harris, Brenda Robinson (Frank) and Donald Burnette (Peggy); his grandchildren, Brooke Valentine (James), Raymond Wilkerson, Amanda Lavan (Christopher) and Robert Gray; and his great grandchildren, Jordynne Fry (Caleb), Titan Valentine, Rocky Valentine, Tinley Valentine, Charlie Valentine, Jett Valentine, Cooper Valentine, Dannie Lavan, Aubrey Lavan, Sebastian Lavan, Madelyn Gray, Annabelle Gray and Theodore Gray. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
