He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Thomas and Cleora Thomas (Seese); his wife Barbara; his siblings, Myron "Jerry" Thomas, Carlos "Gene" Thomas, Kenneth Thomas, Herbert "Herb" Thomas, Louis "Louie" Thomas, Butch Thomas, Bertha Thomas, Peg Letttie and Barbara Martin; and his grandchildren, Aaron Thomas and Suzanne Thomas.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward Thomas (Debbie), Jerry Thomas (Tessie) and Jeff Thomas (Carrie); his grandchildren, Scott Thomas (Jen), Ryan Thomas (Karissa), Jerry Thomas, Julie Thomas, Josh Robles, Samantha Slaven (Tyler) and Cassie Lopp; his great grandchildren, Evelynn, Lucca, Cameron, Corey, Katana, Scarlett, Charleigh, Harper, Marvin, Lillian and Destiny; and his nephew Jimmy Eckbreth (Kim).
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA).
