He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. DuBose Sr. and Ivory L. DuBose; his brother John C. DuBose Jr.; his daughter Chenay; and his son-in-law Eddie Green.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette DuBose; his children, Shawntel Hall and Julian Hall (Daniella); his grandchildren, Sharisse, ShaRai, Bryson, Brielle, Gary III and Julian III; and his sister Kathy DuBose.
A reception was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rhoden Memorial (1101 Palmetto Ave, Akron, OH 44306).
