David left this world on August 5, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Jacobs and Lorraine Jacobs. He is survived by: his significant other Sanda Katila; his siblings, Robert "Jake" Jacobs (Jo), Diane Bryant (Dale) and Denise Hornsby (Dewey); and his nephews, Jon, Jason, Zachary, Derek and Trevor.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA).
