He was predeceased by: his parents, George Buhalak and Katherine Buhalak (Veninger); his siblings, Ruth Schott (Fred) and Tom Buhalak (Vera); and his brother-in-law Bud Sutton.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Regina M. Buhalak (Jimmie Small), John Paul Buhalak and Rita E. Gessford (Pete); his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Madison Buhalak, Olivia and Alexander Gessford; his sisters-in-law, Jane Weber (David), Jill Buffa and Diane Sutton; his niece Denise; and his nephew Keith Buhalak.
