He is survived by: his sisters, Sue Mion and Sherry Smith (Chuck); his former wife Nancy Plavan; his children, Lisa Henderson and Marshall Plavan (Fanony); his grandchildren, Anna, Danielle Henderson, Caleb, Connor and Micaela Plavan; and his friend Shannon Brown.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schermesser Eberhardt Funeral Home (600 East Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, OH 44319). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Queen of Heaven Church (1800 Steese Rd, Uniontown, OH 44685).
