He was predeceased by: his father David Lawrence Burton; his siblings, Crystal Love, Jean Love and Thomas Love; and his close friends, James Griggs and John Coleman Sr..
He is survived by: his mother Ruth Love-Jacobs (Ronnie Sr.); his grandson Jasper; his former wife Katrina Adams; his fiancée Tina Whims; his children, Shawntia Falby (William), Shannon Johnson (late Fred "LJ"), Dominque Shields (Brent), Natasha Jones, Jasper Jones (Rocc), Nataya Jones and Mason Marshall; his grandchild MyKia Paige; his siblings, Renetta Mull-Otis (Charles), Sallie Christian (Herdy), Gracie Burton-Hobbs (Ronald), Mary Trabelis, Lorrie Brown (Mike), Arthur Love, Damon Love, Ronnie Jacobs Jr. (Antonio) and Michael Burton; and his close friends, Rosemary Jones and Aljavaughn Graves (Phynenn). He is also survived by grandchildren, (6) great-grandchildren; (30) nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rhoden Memorial (1101 Palmetto Ave, Akron, OH 44306). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the Mount Peace Cemetery (183 Aqueduct St, Akron, OH 44303).
