He is survived by: his girlfriend Marguerite Beth Peters; his children, David Sherrin Jr., Michelle Melendez (Chris) and Laura Ubelhart (Tom); his grandchildren, Dominic Melendez (Sarah), Izzy Ubelhart and Gabby Ubelhart; his extended family, Keith Pocock, Tracy Pocock, Jenny Johnston (Keith), Matthew Allen (Crystal), Jayce Pocock, Leah Pocock, Donovan Gauer (Kennedy), Alicia Johnston, Delainey Allen and Cody "Rocky" Styer; his sister Kim Thorne (Mike); and his pet Luka.
