He is survived by: his parents, Annamarie Bowman and Don Bowman (Robin); his siblings, Kristen Alloway (Matt), Nick Bowman (Laurie) and Danny Bowman (Roxanne); his nephews, Benny, Jacob, Oliver, Luke and Jonathan; his niece Hazel; his pet Walter; and his grandchildren, Gabriela, Anthony and Olivia. He is also survived by extended family, including his grandparents, numerous aunts and uncles, and over forty first cousins.

Donations can be made in Doug's name to Encephalitis International.
